Digital Conversion and
Restoration
Most of us have
collections of photographs that are an important part of our
family history. Unfortunately film and photographic
paper have a limited life, particularly if your way of storing
them doesn't measure up to museum standards. A practical
solution to this dilemma is to have your originals converted
into digital copies. In the process it is often
relatively easy to correct the effects of time including
fading, scratches and dust. The CDs we use to store the images for you are designed to last over 100 years.
Once this process is done you can enjoy the results on your
computer screen or have new prints made. The prints can
range from the $.15-20 drugstore 4X6 prints to large archival
prints with inks expected to last 100 years or longer.
