Each year during the fall, the town of Estancia celebrates the harvest season by having a town parade with not just the usual participants, vintage automobiles, treats tossed to the spectators but the various and creative machines that are used later to chuck a pumpkin the farthest at the festival grounds. Awards are given to those whose pumpkin travels the greatest distance. Activities are available for all ages throughout the day.
